Researched with AI (Miles Rowan) · sources linked and dated · How we check
Our verdict: Two of the cheapest online day tickets ($49 each) cost about the same as one $99 Standard pass, so the pass pays off from the 3rd visit.
Best for: Families within a drive of Goshen, New York, with LEGO fans aged about 2 to 12, going three or more times. Driving often? Preferred ($129) adds free standard parking.
Not for: One or two visits: LEGOLAND New York sells one-day tickets online from $49 a person on the cheapest dates, so two visits can cost about the same as a pass.
How we got these numbers
| Part | Amount | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Without the deal ≈ $588: Four one-day tickets for each visit, bought online for the cheapest dates; no parking. | ||
| One-day ticket bought online, from $49 a person (4 people × 3 visits) | $49 × 12 = $588 | LEGOLAND New York tickets page, checked October 30, 2026 |
| With the deal ≈ $396: Four Standard season passes: unlimited visits through January 2, 2028, except 52 blockout dates; no free parking. | ||
| Standard Season Pass, $99 a person aged 2+ (full price $119) | $99 × 4 = $396 | LEGOLAND New York Season Passes page, checked October 30, 2026 |
Rough estimate, not a quote: online day tickets start at $49 only on the cheapest dates (the gate price is $99), LEGOLAND shows no child price, and taxes, fees and parking are not counted on either side.
Trip cost: the estimate counts passes or day tickets only; add parking on the Standard pass (price not shown), any taxes or fees, and your drive from New York City (about 60 miles).
What a family of 4 gets
Example family of 4: 2 adults and 2 kids aged 4 and 7, so four passes (everyone aged 2 and up needs one).
- Visits at LEGOLAND New York from the day you buy through January 2, 2028, on the days the park is open; it closes for the season on January 3, 2027.
- The rest of 2026 includes Holiday Bricktacular (November 27, 2026 to January 2, 2027), with holiday LEGO builds, a dance party and family skating on a synthetic (Glice) rink.
- Standard ($99) has 52 blockout dates; Preferred ($129) has none listed and adds free standard parking; Premium ($219) adds 4 Bring-A-Friend tickets and PEPPA PIG Theme Parks.
Is it a good deal?
- Buy it if you will go three or more times before 2028 (our estimate, using the lowest online day-ticket price); for one or two visits, online day tickets (from $49 on the cheapest dates) can cost the same or less.
- The front gate price for one day is $99 a person, the same as a Standard pass.
- If you drive, Preferred ($129) includes free standard parking, which Standard does not.
The catch
- The Standard pass has 52 blockout dates and no free parking, and the pass page shows neither the dates nor the parking price: check both before you buy, and if you will drive most visits, compare Preferred ($129).
- From now to December the park opens on weekends and select weekdays only, and four rides close from November 2.
- No sale end date is stated, and passes cannot be refunded or shared.
How to get it
- Buy online on LEGOLAND New York's Season Passes page; no sale end date is stated.
- Pick Standard ($99) if your dates are not blocked, or Preferred ($129) for free standard parking and no blockout dates.
- Buy one pass for each family member aged 2 and up; you can add the digital passes to the LEGOLAND app wallet, and they are scanned at entry.
Go to the LEGOLAND New York Season Passes page (terms checked October 30, 2026).
